With more than two decades of experience in education and mental health, I am well-equipped to support you on your journey towards emotional well-being. As an accredited BACP member, I uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical practice. My extensive cross-cultural experience, gained from living and working on 4 continents, allows me to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds. I specialise in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and individuals using a person-centred, integrative approach, tailoring my methods to suit your unique needs. I offer flexible scheduling, including online sessions, to ensure that you can access the support you need.

Emotionally Focused Therapy

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a highly effective, evidence-based approach to couples counselling. Unlike other forms of therapy that focus primarily on behaviour or communication, EFT delves deeper, exploring the underlying emotional bonds and attachment needs that shape our relationships. By helping couples and/or individuals identify and express their core emotions, EFT facilitates the creation of a secure, loving connection. Through this process, you learn to respond as a couple with empathy, understanding, and support, fostering a stronger, more resilient relationship, and as an individual with yourself and others.

My location

Online and face2face at my practice, which is conveniently located in South Woodford in East London on the Central Line. This makes it easily accessible from Walthamstow, Chingford, Tottenham, Wood Green, East Ham, Dagenham, Hackney, Stratford, Epping Forest, Romford and the surrounding areas. 

My online counselling services, which allows us to connect and work together throughout the United Kingdom. Whether you prefer the convenience of online sessions or the comfort of face-to-face interactions, I am committed to providing you with the same level of support, empathy, and expertise.

Fees

I believe in providing transparent and accessible services. My fees are available upon request, and I am open to discussing pricing options that work for your unique situation. Payment is made via bank transfer before each session to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted therapeutic process.

EFT Sessions

For couples interested in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I offer an introductory session where partners can introduce themselves and explore how EFT can support their relationship goals. This initial session is a paid consultation that allows us to determine if EFT is the right approach for your needs.

Following the introductory session, the following three sessions of EFT are considered assessment sessions. During this phase, we will delve deeper into your relationship history, attachment styles, and the patterns of interaction that may be contributing to your current challenges. These assessment sessions lay the groundwork for our therapeutic work together.

Cancellation Policy

I understand that life can be unpredictable, and circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your session. I kindly request that you provide at least 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. This allows me to offer the time slot to another client who may be in need of support.

For online sessions conducted via Zoom, I will provide you with a secure link 2-3 minutes before our scheduled session time. To ensure the highest level of confidentiality, I do not save any client details on the Zoom platform.

Availability

I strive to offer flexible scheduling options to accommodate the diverse needs of my clients. My availability may vary depending on current client commitments, but I will work with you to find a session time that suits your schedule. I offer both daytime and evening appointments, including sessions as late as 8:15 PM to support couples with children and busy professionals.
